Who is responsible for your data

Ana SEO Agency is the data controller for the information described on this page. We are an SEO and GEO agency founded in 2002, based in Brazil, working in English and Portuguese.

What we collect

We only ever hold data you choose to give us, plus the basic technical data any website generates.

• Information you send us directly. When you fill in our contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write in your message — for example, your website URL, your goals, and your budget range. You decide what to put in that message.
• Order and communication data on Fiverr. If you contact or hire us through Fiverr, the conversation, brief, and order details live inside Fiverr's platform under their own terms. We see what you share there in order to deliver the work.
• Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically logs standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — to serve the site, keep it secure, and defend against abuse.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data. Please do not send us special-category information (health, religion, political views, and the like) through the form.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We process your data for clear, limited purposes. Under the GDPR, each purpose rests on a specific legal basis.

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To deliver the SEO and GEO work you hire us for. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe, functional website.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation, where one applies.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising profiling. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent us a project enquiry.

Cookies

Our site is built to be light and is hosted as static pages. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies. Any cookie that does appear is strictly functional — for example, something your browser or our hosting provider needs to serve the page correctly. If we ever introduce analytics or non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Third parties who process data for us

We keep our stack small and name every processor that can touch your data.

• Web3Forms — processes our contact-form submissions. When you submit the form, Web3Forms receives the contents and relays them to us by email. They act as a data processor on our behalf. Review their handling at the Web3Forms website.
• Our hosting and CDN provider — serves the website and processes the standard technical logs described above (IP address, request data) to deliver and secure the pages.
• Fiverr — when you reach us through the platform, Fiverr processes the order and message data under its own privacy terms, as the platform we operate on.

We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards, and we only share what each one genuinely needs to do its job. Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers.

Your rights over your data

You have full control over the personal data we hold about you. Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us to:

• Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify — correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase — delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
• Restrict — pause our use of your data while a question is resolved.
• Port — receive your data in a portable format, or have it sent to another provider.
• Object — object to processing we base on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent — where we relied on your consent, withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything done before.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law allows, and at no cost in normal cases. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so we don't hand your data to the wrong person.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the data protection regulator in your country. We would always prefer you raise it with us first so we can put it right, but the choice is yours.

How we protect and retain your data

We hold your data only as long as we have a reason to. Enquiry messages are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable follow-up window after that. Order, contract, and accounting records are kept for as long as the law and sound bookkeeping require, then removed.

Access to your data inside Ana SEO is limited to the people who need it to do the work. Our providers maintain their own security measures over the data they process for us.
